Madrid’s top kid-friendly dining spots: meals and magic

Dining with children in Madrid can be a rewarding experience, provided you choose the right place. Madrid is full of restaurants that offer children’s menus and endless entertainment options to ensure the little ones have as much fun as the adults. Pizzart (Calle de Serrano, 240), one of the most popular pizzerias in the capital, offers one of the best children’s menus—pizza or pasta, dessert, and a drink. It’s also a great place for adults to enjoy a good meal with the family. At El Flaco (Calle de Javier Ferrero, 8), children receive a plate of noodles with chicken and vegetables, while adults can savor the best of Southeast Asian cuisine in Madrid. La Sabina (Calle de Ponzano, 6) offers a children’s menu that includes a drink, a main dish, and a dessert. The main dish can be a pizza (they have a variety of flavors) or a serving of pasta. Dessert comes with a choice of ice cream flavors. Platea (Plaza de Colón, Goya, 5-7) boasts a children’s area with monitors and a wide variety of culinary options, from sushi to traditional Spanish dishes. The children’s menu includes chicken drumsticks, fish fingers, or a hamburger, along with a drink, a piece of fruit, or a yogurt. La Gorda (Calle de Ponzano, 39) presents a children’s menu that includes a drink, a main dish (pizza, hamburger, or pasta), and a dessert (a piece of fruit, a yogurt, or an ice cream). For only six euros, the child enjoys a delicious and healthy meal while the adults enjoy their own dishes, knowing the little ones are well taken care of. At Café de Oriente (Plaza de Oriente, 2), children can enjoy a dish of macaroni with tomato sauce and a yogurt, all while watching the street performers in the square. The restaurant has a classic air but is very child-friendly.
